U.M.A.S. Karate offers FREE child safety seminar!
On Saturday August 16th, 2008 all three Jim Fuller’s U.M.A.S. Karate school locations in Conyers and Covington will conduct FREE child safety seminars entitled “KidSmart”. The program includes topics such as: Stranger Danger, Good Drugs vs. Bad Drugs, 911 system, Fire Safety, Gang Avoidance, Bully Basics, and basic escape maneuvers for children. “This course will be taught simultaneously at all three locations with a class for 7-12 year olds at 11am and another one for 3-6 year olds at 12noon.” says Jim Fuller, Chief instructor and owner of U.M.A.S. Karate. “We will also be offer a FREE self defense class for adults at 10am.” The programs are FREE to the public and are being held as part of U.M.A.S. Karates annual back to school open house. “There will be food, fun, and of course the self defense classes.” “We want to instill confidence in our children so that they will have the ability to say “NO” to unhealthy peer pressure they may receive at school.” For more information please contact U.M.A.S.
